Healthy Hair Journey

I decided to start this blog to chronicle my hair journey. I think that it is important for me to better understand myself and what I a capable of especially during this journey to create this journal. Now actually hair has always been a big part of my life. My mother began me on this road when I was still a toddler by taking me to hair salon to get my hair pressed. For that day forward I cannot this of a time in my life where I don't have some sort of memory about what was going on with my hair. I have done it all from press and curls, to relaxer and roller set, the lovey jheri curl, weaves, braids, natural, and finally back to relaxers. But during that time the health of my hair was never an option. I did not know a thing about getting my hair to a healthy state and maintaining it. In 2010 I started watching YouTube videos and I discovered so many videos about healthy hair for African American women. Who knew this existed? I didn't for sure. I just did whatever my hair stylis...
